How FoldWise is used.

These terms govern your use of the platform. Short and in plain English — no small-print gotchas.
What FoldWise is
A study tool for online poker players. Personal knowledge base, AI assistant configured by you, session tracker, bankroll management. **NOT a bot, NOT a real-time HUD.** The Game Assistant requires manual user input and does not automate decisions at the table.
Compliance with poker platforms
You are responsible for complying with the Terms of Service of the room where you play. FoldWise is designed not to violate the TOS of GGPoker, PokerStars, or similar — but if you use the app in a way the room considers a violation (screen-sharing during live play, feeding it real-time decisions, etc.), that's your decision and your responsibility.
Your account
You identify via Google or Magic Link OTP (Supabase Auth). You're responsible for keeping the email and OTP-receiving device secure. If you lose access to the email, you lose access to the account — there's no "recover account" flow outside of Supabase.
Your AI API keys
When you add a key for Anthropic / OpenAI / Google / Groq / OpenRouter, we verify it with the provider before storing it encrypted. You are responsible for your own usage billing with those providers. FoldWise never charges for tokens above what the provider charges you.
Subscriptions and payments
Paddle processes all payments (Merchant of Record, supports Uruguay without extra legal structure). Cancel any time from Settings → Plan. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period; no partial refunds. Lifetime is one-time — no refunds.

Game Assistant recommendations are AI-generated suggestions, not guaranteed advice. Poker has inherent variance; FoldWise can improve your decision framework but does not guarantee positive results. **You play with your own money at your own risk.**
Termination
You can delete your account any time from Settings → Privacy (self-service). We can close accounts that abuse the service (mass rate-limit evasion, injection attempts, sharing your access with others) — we'll email you first unless it's an emergency.
Governing law
Eastern Republic of Uruguay. For EU/EEA users, GDPR rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability) additionally apply — we honor them without discussion.
Changes
We email you 30 days in advance if something material changes. The last-updated date is at the bottom.
